Ellen Mueller’s Exhibition to Run Feb.3 – April 3; Delivering Artist’s Lecture, Feb. 4

PHILIPPI, W.Va. – Ellen Mueller, artist and faculty member at West Virginia Wesleyan College, will show two video works in the Daywood Gallery February 3 – April 3, 2015, on the campus of Alderson Broaddus University.

Mueller’s work exhibits a playful delight in absurdity, referencing corporate management structures and cult psychology in order to pose questions about time, value, routines, and the monetization of work and presence.

In addition, Ellen Mueller will deliver an artist’s lecture on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. in the Daywood Gallery. This lecture is free and open to the public.

Daywood Gallery is located on the first floor of Burbick Hall and is open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. M-F. All are welcome to view this unique display.
