AB PRESENTS MUSICAL “MAME” APRIL 7-9

“Live. Live! LIVE!  Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death.”

PHILIPPI, W.Va. – The Alderson Broaddus University School of Music proudly presents the musical “MAME” April 7-9 at 7:30 in Funkhouser Auditorium on the AB campus.
 
The show is about an orphaned boy who is sent to live with his free spirited Auntie Mame and the adventures they have in the 1920’s and 1930’s.  Filled with memorable songs, “Bosom Buddies”, “Mame”, and “Need a Little Christmas”; the show is sure to please young and old.  
 
Dorian and Rowan Cottrill (from Volga-Century Elementary) play the two children in the show; the rest of the cast is made up of AB students and faculty.  The production is directed by Assistant Professor of Music Lewis R. Hall.  
 
The production will take place three nights only: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 5-7, with each show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $5 for general admission and all students, faculty and staff with a valid Alderson Broaddus University ID gets in FREE.
