Executive Master of Science
in Information Technology Administration

Prepare for an IT Leadership Role!

Take your IT career to the next level with the Executive Master of Science in Information Technology Administration from the Alderson Broaddus University.

We live in a connected world – where cars “signal” us when a tire needs air, kitchen appliances “talk” to each other, and malicious agents work to take advantage of our connectivity. Learn what it takes to manage these elements, maintain connectivity, and fight the good digital fight.

Your executive master’s degree in IT Administration combines practical technical abilities with leadership “soft skills” to help you make the most of your career path. From predictive analytics to identifying cyber threats to using big data analytics for large industries, like healthcare, this program will open the door to leadership opportunities in virtually any industry.

Your IT leadership journey includes online classes with mandatory weekend class sessions once per semester. You will take a minimum of 31 credit-hours of instruction in theories, strategies, and tactics of leadership, information security, data mining, business intelligence, and decision-making processes. The program is based on a semester schedule (with 3 semesters each calendar year—Fall, Spring, Summer). A full-time student, taking an average of 7 credits per semester could complete the program in 5 semesters. A part-time student (taking less than 6 credits per semester) could complete the program in under 3 years.
