Logo Quick Tips

Below are a few quick tips to keep in mind when using our logos:

Do

  • Always include the AB logo and wordmark in all University communications.
  • Always use the files created by the Office of Marketing & Communications.
  • Whenever possible, use the main version of a logo in the first priority colors.
  • Always adhere to the clear space and minimum size standards to ensure legibility.
  • Contact the Office of Marketing & Communications if you have any questions about using the logo or need additional guidance.

Don’t

  • Don’t design a logo yourself. If you need files, the Office of Marketing & Communications will provide them.
  • Don’t alter logo files. This includes stretching, squeezing, skewing, or otherwise distorting proportions, or adjusting the layout or design.
  • Don’t add anything, like words or images, to a logo.
  • Don’t separate the elements of a logo to use as standalone graphics.
  • Don’t use more than one logo in the same design space.
