Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies
Alderson Broaddus University’s interdisciplinary studies program is specifically designed for students who have already earned around 90 hours of college credit. Previous coursework is used in determining the emphasis or concentration that best fits the student’s needs and goals. Additional coursework may include classes from one of our other degree programs to aid the student in accumulating 120 credits toward graduation.
All students must complete 30 hours at Alderson Broaddus University, including IDST490 – the interdisciplinary studies capstone course. Twenty-seven hours (either transferred or new classes) must be upper-division courses. Students may not complete the interdisciplinary studies degree and another degree program simultaneously.
Advisors will recommend one of two program tracks:
Interdisciplinary Studies Broad Curricular Emphasis Option
Interdisciplinary Studies Single Concentration Option
