Dr. Jennifer Momen, M.D.
Associate Professor of Physician Assistant Studies
Dr. Momen is an Associate Professor of Physician Assistant Studies. She obtained a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1987 and a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1991. Dr. Momen completed a residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh/University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1994. Following her residency she was in private pediatrics practice in Beaver, Pennsylvania and Bridgeport, West Virginia.
Dr. Momen’s interests include preventive medicine, patient education, and pediatric obesity prevention and treatment. Courses taught include Pediatrics, Physical Diagnosis, Diagnostic Studies, and Clinical Problem Solving. She is on the board of directors of United Summit Center and the Harrison County Medical Society. Dr. Momen is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a physician member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. She currently serves on the Physician Assistant Education Association Rotation Exam Review Committee.
Dr. Momen lives in Bridgeport with her husband Moe, a pediatric dentist, and their daughter, Sarah.
