|Mrs. Gladys Rivera, RN, MSN
Mrs. Rivera is a tenured Assistant Professor of Nursing. Mrs. Rivera teaches Medical Terminology, Nursing II – Fundamentals of Nursing, Nursing III – Med-Surg, Nursing 250.95 – Health Assessment for LPN-BSN’s.
Mrs. Rivera is a graduate of Alderson Broaddus Nursing Program in 1992. She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from West Virginia University in 1995.
Mrs. Rivera has been with ABU since 1993. She has worked at United Hospital Center on Cardiac Step Down Unit from 1992 – 2008. She has also worked with Barbour County Home Health Program during the summers.
Mrs. Gladys Rivera is a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York and moved to West Virginia in 1983. Mrs. Rivera has 4 adult children who also graduate from Alderson Broaddus. Mrs. Rivera has seven grandchildren she loves to spend time with.
