Women’s Volleyball Swept by Walsh

CANTON, Ohio -- Despite a strong 10-kill, 13-dig effort from freshman Caitlin Cain, Alderson-Broaddus women’s volleyball lost 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-18) to Walsh University Tuesday evening.

Junior Krissy Sokol paced the Cavaliers with 14 kills and nine digs and senior Hannah Duran led Walsh with 37 assists.

Battler sophomore Kayla Peterson contributed 27 assists and 11 digs in the loss.

A-B takes part in the Wheeling Jesuit Tournament Friday with matches against Cedarville and Virginia Union.
