Women’s Tennis Loses to Bobcats
BUCKHANNON, W.Va. -- Alderson-Broaddus women’s tennis lost 8-1 to West Virginia Wesleyan Wednesday.
“"I see the girls are challenging the opponents they should be and even, in some instances, winning their match,” said Head Coach Nathan Harold. "They are beginning to stay focused during both the highs and lows of a set.
Freshman Stephanie Gertsakis earned her third straight singles victory against WVWC’s Juliane Bezerra, 6-4 and 7-6.
The Battlers return home to face Shepherd University Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
