TOWN HALL MEETING TO BE HELD ON JULY 31
Community is invited to attend “Together, Growing Barbour County”
PHILIPPI, W.Va. - Coordinated by Alderson-Broaddus College, Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, and Philippi Main Street, a town hall meeting “Together, Growing Barbour County” is scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, at 9:00 A.M.
Topics of discussion include: the unprecedented enrollment growth at A-B College – a 300% increase in new students for fall 2012- and the impact on Philippi and Barbour County. Further discussions will include the identification of business opportunities as a result of the increasing campus population and campus-community partnership opportunities such as service, internships, etc.
The meeting will be held in the Court Room of the Barbour County Court House in Philippi. All residents and community members are invited to attend. Complimentary beverages will be served beginning at 8:30 A.M.
