Tom Persinger Offering Hands-On Learning Experience to Local College Students and Community
PHILIPPI, WV- Persinger will conduct an all day camera and lens building workshop at Alderson Broaddus University on September 20, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Kemper-Redd Science building, room 114.
Enrollment is limited to 20 participants on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve a place, please email Gary Schubert at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sponsored by the Alderson Broaddus Art Guild, SGA, and Art Department, the workshop is free for AB Students. For non-student participants, the cost is $30 for materials. Please make checks payable to AB University Art Department, 101 College Hill Dr., Philippi, WV 26416.
Tom Persinger previously conducted a Pinhole Camera Workshop for AB. He is a well recognized and published artist and founder of f295, the world’s largest organization dedicated to the discussion, practice, and advancement of 21st Century Photography. There are nearly 2,000 members of f295 located around the world.
