Battler Basketball Now Available Through Webcast
Alderson-Broaddus College has recently launched live broadcasts of its men’s
basketball games via a webcast at www.ab.edu/gameday.
Now, alumni, friends and family
can listen to Battler basketball games by going to www.ab.edu/gameday and selecting either broadband or dialup. Once the type of
service is selected, the user can listen through their computer’s media
player. Those using a Windows XP or higher Microsoft Windows computer will

computer. Otherwise, users will have to download and install a media
player capable of playing "asx" streams.
For years, local fans of Battler
Basketball have been able to listen to the games through the college's student

and family members who may not have the opportunity to see the game or pick up
the radio signal, a way to listen to the game and follow the team," said
Melinda "Mendi" Simon, Director of Communications. "We're excited that those who
want to follow Battler Basketball will have another way to do so,"
continued Simon.
