Mr. Phillip Northey, MS, PA-C, is a Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Professor for the Physician Assistant Studies Program at Alderson Broaddus University. Mr. Northey graduated from Wheeling Jesuit College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Science/Biology. Mr. Northey graduated from the A-B College PA Program in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Science and returned to complete his Master’s Degree in 2006. Mr. Northey’s responsibilities include all aspects of the clinical phase of the program and coordinating and instructing courses in the didactic phase.
Mr. Northey’s primary clinical interests are in Primary Care and Pediatrics. He also has interest in Preventative Care, Integrative Medicine, and Public Health. Mr. Northey is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, West Virginia Association of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistant Education Association, Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants, and West Virginia Rural Health Association.
Mr. Northey’s outside interests include spending time with his wife, son, dogs, and family. He also enjoys outdoor activities, sports, exercise, and music. He and his family live in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
