Lillian Long (Voice, Opera, Organ, Handbells, Accompanying)

Mrs. Lillian F. Long, Associate Professor of Music, tenured, is in her 28th year at Alderson Broaddus University, where her primary responsibilities consist of teaching applied voice and vocal techniques.  Mrs. Long directs the Opera Workshop productions and the University Handbell Choir, and serves as College Organist.  She accompanies for the School of Music and serves as Accompanying Coordinator.  She also serves as School of Music Auditions Coordinator.

Mrs. Long’s degrees include the Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Manchester College, Indiana, a Master of Music Degree in Organ Performance from the University of Akron, Ohio, and a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Coaching and Accompanying from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign, where she studied with Mr. John Wustman.
