1871 Society

Give to the A-B Annual Fund  I 1871 Society  I  What Our Alumni Say

Commemorating the year in which the College was founded, the purpose of The 1871 Society is to recognize our most generous A-B Annual Fund donors who support our mission and become partners in a shared vision for Alderson-Broaddus College.

Charter members, anyone who gives during the fiscal year, will receive special custom-made A-B ties (for men) and scarves (for women).

Young alumni, or Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD), are invited to join and renew each year at the following levels:

Classes 5-10 years out 

$500 

Classes 1-4 years out 

$250 

Current Year Graduates

$100 

All other Alumni and Friends can join at the $1,000 minimum.

Recognizable Giving Levels 

The 1871 Society will include the following giving circles, and donors will be recognized at the appropriate level in College publications: 

Partners Circle

$1,000 to $2,499

Patrons Circle

$2,500 to $4,999

Ambassadors Circle   

$5,000 to $9,999

Advocates Circle

$10,000 to $24,999

Leadership Circle

$25,000 to $49,999

Mountaintop Circle    

$50,000 plus
