Local businesses to speak with students
PHILIPPI, W.Va. –The Office of Career Services at Alderson Broaddus University is hosting its 4th Annual Spring Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, March 18 from 10 am to 1 pm in the Hamer Campus Center.
The Spring Job and Internship Fair is an outstanding opportunity for businesses to meet with highly qualified candidates that will be able to make significant contributions to their organization as interns or full time employees.
“We at AB look forward to this event every year and are excited to provide businesses with a venue to visit with and collect resumes from students, soon-to-be graduates, and former students,” said Teresa VanAlsburg, director of career services.
In the four years AB has offered the job and internship fair, this year is the largest with over 30 businesses participating.
“We realize organizations may not be hiring immediately, but are glad to see that they consider this as an opportunity to get acquainted with the skills that our graduates possess, and to network with our younger students to lay the groundwork for their future employment needs,” said VanAlsburg.
